Unique gin blending experience set this place apart, letting guests craft their own spirits with personal flair. The selection of exceptionally comfortable extra large king beds, decked out in luxury linens, elevated my stay, even if the pillows were a bit scanty.

Room 4 had some quirks that were hard to ignore. It also backed onto a loud courtyard with air conditioning units, disrupting any hopes of a peaceful night's sleep for £300 a night. Plus, those ultra-thin pillows offered little comfort, which could definitely use an upgrade to something more substantial. The menu could use more choices as well, but the food quality was otherwise excellent.

Parking situation is a disaster due to limited on-site spaces!!! Room maintenance could be better, especially in terms of outdated facilities and cleanliness concerns, particularly in the bathrooms!!!

    Charming Escape with Good Breakfast

Our one-night stay was cozy and enjoyable. The breakfast was a highlight—freshly cooked and delicious! While the parking was a challenge, and we felt somewhat pushed for our afternoon drinks, the staff mostly tried to accommodate us. Just be prepared for some quirks. Bring your bags early!

    breakfast shortcomings

The room was lovely, cozy, and beautifully decorated. The attention to detail throughout the hotel was impressive, creating a warm and inviting ambiance. Every member of the staff was genuinely friendly and attentive, making my stay feel special. The chef's table experience was a highlight. watching the kitchen staff prepare incredible dishes was entertaining. The food quality was outstanding, especially the porterhouse steak. However, the parking situation was frustrating with only a few spaces available. My room had a quirky bathroom that, while stylish, lacked practical features like level surfaces for toiletries. The shower also needed grab rails for safety, given the wet floors. Breakfast options could be better. having a hot breakfast included would certainly elevate the experience. Overall, it was a memorable stay with room for improvement.

    interactive gin tasting
    quaint room design
    limited breakfast options

The extensive gin selection provided a fun, interactive tasting experience. The charm of the quaint room design added to the overall cozy atmosphere, making it an enjoyable stay.

The room could use a small fridge for chilling drinks, which would enhance the experience. The continental breakfast offerings felt limited and didn't quite justify the price—especially considering that a cooked breakfast comes at an extra charge. some teacups were chipped, and the teapots at breakfast were less than pristine, leaving a less favorable impression at the start of the day.
